Black Diamond Karate and CS Gymnastics located at 4 Gold Mine RD Flanders NJ, 07836 will be hosting a children's safety seminar based on the EZ Defense for children method.  In this seminar children will learn to make positive decisions during negative situations.  Such situations may include:
  • Common playground altercations
  • Name calling or arguments
  • Dealing with bullying
  • Getting lost
  • Home safety
  • Encounters with strangers
The benefits of the class for children include:

  • How to cope with bullying
  • Increased self-esteem
  • Increased safety at home, school and play
  • Coping with the challenges of aggression and conflict
  • Better communication
  • New options to violence
  • Better respect for self and others
  • How to identify and avoid possible stranger abduction.

<![CDATA[HOW DO WE DELIVER THE WOW]]>Sat, 28 Jun 2014 21:23:57 GMThttp://bdkarate.com/blog/how-do-we-deliver-the-wowWhen I lived in California,  I had the great honor of meeting a man named Josh.  Needless to say we instantly got along and found that we shared a lot of common beliefs.  Josh like me believes in delivering the best service possible in all that we do.   Although I have always been a person focused on delivering customer service and expect it in return.  Josh was able to my help me put into words what customer service means and clearly state it in a simple phrase to that I can adhere to as a father, a man, a business owner, a teacher and a student.  

That simple phrase is "How do you deliver the WOW?" 

How do you deliver the WOW? Is a short, simple sentence with a powerful meaning.  I have searched and read many articles on customer service and service delivery to put into words the meaning of that simple phrase.  As a result I have come to understand that there is no one meaning behind that phrase but rather a collection of actions and attitudes to fulfill my mind set of "How do you deliver the WOW?"  


I can not take all of the credit for the items listed below because I have read and been influenced by reading many articles and guides on customer service, as well my own life experiences as well.  Some of the items listed are things I do naturally, others I have to work on.   


So lets ask the question; "What does Delivering the WOW mean?"
To make it simple Delivering the WOW experience means:

"Make your customers say "WOW" That was a great experience."

In order to build your business, keep your clients, turn your clients into a referral machine; YOU have to Deliver the WOW in everything, everyday, all the time. 

This allows you to charge more for your services, build your business and be most important of all be successful. 

Once you out deliver better than anyone else in your community, you will not have to worry about competitors or where your next client is coming from

Deliver the WOW in your Facebook 
Deliver the WOW on You Tube
Deliver the WOW on Yelp
Deliver the WOW every time someone walks into your facility
Deliver the WOW every time someone talks to you over the phone

Deliver the WOW by taking the time to hand write a "Thank you" note
